The Polish Patent Office (PPO) offers two tools:

DepatisNET – database of the German Patent and Trademark Office (Datenbank des Deutschen Patent – und Markenamtes) containing patent documents from all over the world.
DesignView – a search engine for industrial designs provided by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and used to browse public data.
e-Knowledge Base – website and educational platform of the Polish Patent Office. It constitutes a compendium of knowledge on industrial and intellectual property. The platform includes e-learning courses helping to complete an application to obtain a patent for an invention and an application to grant protection for a trademark.
e-Library – intellectual property publications on the UPRP website.
e-Registers – a tool providing access to current entries in the registers kept by the PPO (Polish Patent Office). A detailed description of the possibilities offered by the register search engine can be found on the UPRP website.
eSearch plus – eSearch plus – search engine for Community designs and trade marks on the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) website.
e-Finder – enables full-text search of data on the subjects of protection of the PPO (Polish Patent Office). It allows the user to subscribe to information of interest. Search options are described in detail on the UPRP website.
Espacenet – EPO (European Patent Office) database providing access to millions of patent documents.
Espacenet PL – a full-text database where one can search bibliographic data, descriptions of Polish inventions and utility models and European patents valid in Poland translated into Polish. It is worth starting your search for regional and worldwide patent documentation from this database.
European Patent Register – contains procedural information on all European patent applications, in addition to links to the patent registers of EPO (European Patent Office) member states and thus allows the status of European patents to be checked once they have been granted.
European Publication Server – a full-text database of patent applications (A documents) and granted patents (B documents) maintained by the European Patent Office.
Global Brand Database – search engine for trademarks under the Madrid system, designations of origin and geographical indications under the Lisbon system and emblems under Article 6 of the Paris Convention and international non-proprietary names of the World Health Organisation.
Google Patents – an international database of patent documents. It contains millions of patent publications from patent offices around the world, as well as other technical documents and books indexed in Google Scholar and Google Books, and documents from the Prior Art Archive.
Hague Express – international design registrations on the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organisation) website.
Madrid Monitor – WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organisation) tool to track the status of an international trade mark application or registration. It provides detailed information on all trademarks registered through the Madrid system.
Madrid System Goods & Services Manager – are used to compile the list of goods and services accompanying the international application in the Madrid system of trademark registration.
International Classification Systems – a resource for browsing and searching data in patent classifications such as:
- International Patent Classification (MKP classification),
- International Classification of Goods and Services (Nice classification),
- International Classification of the Elements of Figurative Marks (Viennese classification),
- International Classification of Industrial Designs (Locarno classification).
The International Patent Classification is a hierarchical system for classifying inventions and utility models. It systematises patent documentation and facilitates its search.
Patent Public Search – is a patent search engine of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
PATENTSCOPE – an international full-text database of patent documents maintained by WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organisation). It contains documents from the PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) and regional and national offices.
Publikacje – access to the publications of the PPO:

- Patent Office News,

- other publications (books, handbooks, guides and brochures).
Similarity – makes it possible to assess whether the industrial property offices providing information to this tool treat the given goods and services as similar (and to what extent) or dissimilar. Terms and lists of terms can be compared.
Glossary of terms – a list of patent information terms with explanations, provided on the UPRP (Polish Patent Office) website.
TMclass – a tool that assists trademark applicants in searching for and classifying goods and services (term selection). TMclass also allows translation of the list of goods and services.
TMview – a trade mark search engine provided by EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office).
