Free access to the collections

In the Main Library of the Lodz University of Technology, the printed collections are located on three floors in free access areas. You can wander freely between the bookcases and select publications to borrow from the shelves. The books are arranged according to the classes of the Universal Decimal Classification (UKD). The class designation (e.g. 66.01/.09) is the beginning of the reference number, which makes it possible to locate a book on the shelf.
