We invite you to the Biblio-Art Gallery for an exhibition of paintings and illustrations by Szymon Sobczak entitled "MŁODY OBIECUJĄCY ARTYSTA". The opening will take place on April 13th at 2:00 PM.
Szymon Sobczak was born and lives in Łódź. His fascination with comics inspired him to begin art studies, during which he broadened his interests to include new techniques and fields. In his own artistic practice, Szymon Sobczak primarily works with comics, painting, and illustration.
The exhibition "MŁODY OBIECUJĄCY ARTYSTA" presents a collection of works from 2019-2026.
The painting section consists exclusively of abstract works, while the illustration section is grotesque in nature or draws inspiration from commercial productions of Western comics.
Despite their different approaches and forms of expression, both forms record the artist's journey and the development that has taken place along the way. They reflect his impressions, reflections, and experiences.
A meeting with the artist, which will complement the opening, will take place on April 13th at 6:00 PM.
